Crockpot Big Mac Dip Recipe

  • Author: Victor
  • Total Time: 2 hours 45 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 8 servings 1x

Description

Crockpot Big Mac Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and tangy party appetizer inspired by the classic Big Mac burger flavors. Combining ground beef, cheddar and Velveeta cheeses, pickles, and a special sauce blend, this slow-cooked dip mimics the iconic sandwich taste, perfect for serving warm with chips or veggies at gatherings or game days.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until fully browned. Drain the grease carefully to avoid excess fat in the dip.
  2. Combine Ingredients in Crockpot: Transfer the cooked beef to a crockpot. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, cubed Velveeta cheese, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickle juice. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Cook on Low: Set the crockpot to the LOW setting and cook the mixture for 2 to 3 hours. Stir occasionally during cooking to help the cheeses melt smoothly and evenly incorporate with the other ingredients.
  4. Switch to Warm and Serve: Once the dip is melted, creamy, and hot throughout, switch the crockpot to the WARM setting to keep it at serving temperature. Serve the dip directly from the crockpot for convenience.
  5. Optional Garnishes: Before serving, you may garnish the dip with sesame seeds, shredded lettuce, or additional chopped pickles to mimic the traditional Big Mac toppings and enhance presentation.

Notes

  • To reduce fat, use lean ground beef and low-fat mayonnaise.
  • The dip can be prepared ahead and reheated before serving.
  • Serve with sturdy chips, toasted bread, or sliced vegetables for dipping.
  • Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
