  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

Drunken Snowman is a cozy and indulgent winter cocktail featuring rich hot chocolate, creamy vanilla ice cream, and smooth Bailey’s Irish Cream. This delightful drink is topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, making it a perfect festive treat for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

Scale

Hot Chocolate

  • 1 packet Hot Chocolate Mix
  • 68 ounces Milk

Ice Cream & Alcohol

  • 2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1.5 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream

Toppings

  • Whipped Cream (for topping)
  • Milk Chocolate Sprinkles or Chocolate Shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Hot Chocolate: Heat 1 cup (6-8 ounces) of milk in a pot over medium heat on the stove. Stir in 1 packet of hot chocolate mix until fully dissolved. Alternatively, heat the milk in a microwave-safe cup and stir in the hot chocolate powder until smooth.
  2. Add Ice Cream: In a separate cup or mug, place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
  3. Pour Bailey’s: Add 1.5 ounces of Bailey’s Irish Cream over the ice cream.
  4. Combine Hot Chocolate: Pour the prepared hot chocolate into the mug with the ice cream and Bailey’s. Stir gently to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Add Toppings: Top the drink with a generous amount of whipped cream to add creaminess and a festive look.
  6. Garnish: Sprinkle milk chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings over the whipped cream for a delicious finishing touch.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Bailey’s Irish Cream according to your preference for alcohol strength.
  • Use whole milk for a richer flavor or substitute with a dairy-free alternative to suit dietary needs.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the Bailey’s and add extra vanilla ice cream or flavored syrup.
  • Serve immediately while hot to enjoy the contrast between warm chocolate and cold ice cream.
