Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until coated evenly. Add lemon juice and gently mix to incorporate the flavors.
  2. Grill the Shrimp: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are opaque throughout. Remove from the grill and set aside.
  3. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to your preference.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable and warm for wrapping.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous layer of the prepared Caesar dressing over each warmed tortilla. Add grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and if desired, sprinkle with crumbled bacon and croutons for added texture and flavor.
  6. Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to secure all fillings inside.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately while the shrimp are warm and the wrap is fresh.

Notes

  • You can substitute shrimp with grilled chicken for a different variation.
  • For a lighter option, use Greek yogurt in place of mayonnaise in the dressing.
  • To make this wrap gluten-free, use gluten-free tortillas and ensure croutons are gluten-free or omit them.
  • Adding avocado slices can provide a creamy texture and extra nutrients.
  • Ensure shrimp are fully cooked to avoid any food safety issues.
